Touch Down Before Touchdowns

This "helmet-cam" video shot by one of the parachutists delivering the game ball for the Homecoming game against Columbia is pretty cool. It goes on for a bit and you might get a little dizzy, but see what landmarks you can pick out. Love the uncensored comment by one of the 'chutists at the end.

If you are over, say, 25, be sure to hit the mute button on this one.

The National Football Foundation will announce the 2011 National Scholar-Athlete class at 11 today. A field of 127 that includes Dartmouth linebacker Luke Hussey will be trimmed to 16. Find more information here.

Dartmouth is among the schools recruiting a running back from Branson, Missouri. Find a story in the Branson Tri-Lakes News. From the story:
The 5-foot-9, 190-pound (Malachi) Daniels entered Week Nine having rushed for 1,232 yards, averaging 6,5 yards a carry. He ran for 270 yards last week at Springfield Parkview.

In addition to pink ribbon stickers on their helmets, Dartmouth football players have been wearing Football Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirts round campus this month.

You may not be crazy about Harvard – particularly this week – but this 52-second We Are Harvard video posted by Harvard Athletics is pretty good.

FIVE QUESTIONS
There's something you've been wondering about Dartmouth football and you' haven't seen the answer on BGA. If you have a question you would like me to ask Coach Teevens, click here. That will address an email to me with the subject line Five Questions. I will pick the five most interesting questions and pose them to Coach Teevens after practice. (All I would ask is that the questions not be with regard to playing time and not be something you wouldn't ask in person.) The answers will be posted on BGA premium tomorrow night with appropriate excerpts to appear here on the blog the next morning.
