Game Day

Wow, that poll turned out to be very interesting. What were the chances it would end up that exactly 50 percent of you think football games should be postponed when conditions merit and exactly 50 percent think they shouldn't?

Today's schedule, again with Dartmouth the last to kick off:
  • Brown at Yale, Noon (YES)
  • Harvard at Columbia, 12:30
  • Princeton at Penn, 1
  • Cornell at Dartmouth, 1:30
Also . . .
  • Holy Cross at Lehigh, 12:30 p.m.
  • Sacred Heart at Wagner, 1 p.m.
  • Colgate at Lafayette 6 p.m.
The Ivy League standings:
  • Harvard 4-0 6-1
  • Brown 3-1 6-1
  • Pennsylvania 3-1 4-3
  • Yale 3-1 4-3
  • Cornell 1-3 3-4
  • Dartmouth 1-3 2-5
  • Princeton 1-3 1-6
  • Columbia 0-4 0-7
Harvard radio station WHRB has capsules of each of today's game and includes this about the Dartmouth-Cornell game:
The winner of this game takes a death grip on 5th place in the Ancient Eight.
Ouch.

It is 28 degrees with crystal clear blue skies at 8:15 this morning. The forecast for gametime is 44 degrees, a gentle breeze and full sun.
