Week 10 Recap

Dartmouth's Kirby Schoenthaler rambles for 34 yards on an end-around in the win over Princeton.

Here's your final weekly recap with a few pithy comments:

Cornell 48, Penn 38
Big Red QB Jeff Mathews goes 35-for-45 for an Ivy League-record 548 yards with five touchdowns one week after throwing for 521 yards. This is video game stuff.

Columbia 35, Brown 28 (2OT)

Good for the Lions to avoid revisiting the '80s and finally getting a win. Sean Brackett ran for four touchdowns and passed for another. Assist to Dartmouth for cutting the Bears' hearts out last week.

Harvard 45, Yale 7
Hardly a surprise. Collier winters throws for 355 yards and one touchdown and runs for a game-high 62 yards and another to put himself squarely in the (offensive) player of the year conversation along with Mathews and a certain Dartmouth running back. Tragedy in New Haven, though, as a tailgater dies after being hit by a truck.

Colgate 21, Bucknell 6
Raiders get 101 yards rushing from Gavin McCarney as they play once again without Nate Eachus.

Holy Cross 41, Fordham 21
Ryan Taggart throws for 334 yards and three touchdowns and Fordham fires its coach after the game.

Albany 31, Sacred Heart 21
Great Danes earn a trip to the Dance.
