As long as we're playing this game, Fulleton is a two-star get according to Scout.com. As for the rest . . . oh nevermind. We're not going there.•
Yale quarterback Patrick Witt played in something called the NFLA Collegiate Bowl. Portal 31 blog reports he was just 2-for-7 for 21 yards although his team scored on two of his drives in the game played at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.•
The Dartmouth men's basketball team fell to Harvard last night, 54-38, before the first sellout crowd at Leede Arena since 2000. (Click here for a photo of the throng.) From a game story in the Boston Globe:It was anything but pretty - on either side - as the Crimson (16-2, 2-0) struggled to start both halves, but pulled away at the end, largely because of the depth of their bench rather than anything the starters did.To give you an idea about the circus surrounding No. 24 Harvard, among those on press row last night was the inimitable Bob Ryan.

That Certain Hanover High Graduate sliced about 10 seconds off her mile time from a week ago in yesterday's meet at Leverone Field House but is still well off her PR as she continues to battle her way back from the knee problems that cost her the summer training. The big news was teammate and classmate Abbey D'Agostino setting a school record with a time of 4:38.44 in the mile. The time qualified her for the NCAA Indoor championships. To put her time in perspective, someone who follows this stuff closely wrote me: "4:38 converts to 4:17 for 1500M, which is provisional B time for Olympic Trials. 4:12 is automatic."D'Agostino, you may recall, was third in the outdoor NCAA's last spring in the 5,000 as a freshman and third in the NCAA cross country championships in the fall. Find her Dartmouth bio here.
