Old Friend, New Home

Former Dartmouth assistant Desmond Robinson has been named running backs coach at Pitt according to head coach Paul Chryst. (link)

Robinson, who coached linebackers at Dartmouth in the first year of Buddy Teevens' initial tenure in Hanover, was a defensive end on Pitt's national championship 1976 team. In addition to Dartmouth and Pitt, he was on Teevens' staff for three years at Tulane and has coached at Notre Dame, West Virginia, Syracuse and UConn. He also coached in NFL Europe.

Portal 31 offers this quote from Patrick Witt's agent after the Yale quarterback participated in the NFL Combine:
He could look to his left, look to his right and realize that he belonged (with) them.

Brown is kicking off a search for its new athletic director. The Brown Daily Herald reports.
