Worth A Thousand Words

Broke out the camera on a gorgeous February day in the Upper Valley and this is what I found (click photos to supersize) . . .

The Winter Carnival sculpture of a cupcake on a largely snowless Green. The 101st Winter Carnival is titled, Carnival in Candyland: The Sweetest Carnival Ever."

Construction continues on the Hanover Inn.

The Arts Center takes shape.

The new softball stadium on Chase Field brings the team on campus.

There may be no snow in the valley but it's still white up here on Moose Mountain.
Thursday's view of the sunset over Killington (left) and Pico (right) from the shoulder of Moose Mountain was one of the best.
