The rain held off yesterday and the 60,000 or so of us who showed up at Beaver Stadium to watch the coming out party for Brown grad Bill O'Brien as Penn State's new football coach enjoyed a good time. The rain finally started during our post Blue-White Game stroll into town and continued into the night. Thankfully the VW bus kept us dry.
As I type this Mrs. BGA is packing this and that back into the various cubbies around the VW so I better get out of the KOA laundromat (home office of BGA for the past four days) and go do my part. We should be on the road within a few minutes and, as long as the VW behaves, home some 9-10 hours later. So long for now. . . .
Oops, one Dartmouth sports note to brighten your morning. By completing a four-game sweep of Yale yesterday, the Big Green baseball team has a four-game lead over Harvard in the Red Rolfe Division with four games to play. One win next weekend and Dartmouth is back in the Ivy League Championship Series yet again.
