Dartmouth will begin preseason football practice for the 2012 season on Aug. 22. As a result of a change in the academic calendar, classes will begin this year on the Monday before the season-opener against Butler. In the past, classes began after the first game.Exams will begin the day before the finale against Princeton, allowing the students to be off from Nov. 22-Jan. 7 instead of having to come back after Thanksgiving for exams.
