There's no such parity in the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl that will see Dartmouth-bound Daniel Gorman of Hanover play for New Hampshire Saturday at Memorial Field. The Granite Staters have won the last 11 games and 28 of the last 31 to forge a 43-13-2 lead in the series. Over the 11-game streak New Hampshire has outscored Vermont, 371-121. The Manchester Union Leader has a story.

In addition to Gorman, there are four other players from New Hampshire hoping to play FCS football. Two received scholarships to UNH, one will walk on in Durham and one will walk on at Maine.

The Shrine game returns to its longtime home at Dartmouth Saturday at 2:30 after being played at Windsor High School in Vermont the past three years. The game was shifted to make way for the demolition and reconstruction of the home stands at Memorial Field, a project that was halted days before it was slated to begin because of the downturn of the economy.
