Game Day

With the nonconference season over it's a good time to take a look at how the Ivy League fared against its closest rival, the Patriot League. And close it was this year with the two conferences going 8-8 against each other.

Here is how the Ivy League has done against the Patriot League since 2005:

2012 – 8-8
2011 –  9-7
2010 – 6-11
2009 – 10-8
2008 – 9-9
2007 – 9-9
2006 – 4-14
2005 – 7-10
And here's how Ivy League teams did in their games against Patriot League foes:

  • Brown: defeated Holy Cross 24-21, defeated Georgetown 37-10
  • Columbia: lost to Fordham 20-13, lost to Lehigh 35-14
  • Cornell: defeated Bucknell 15-10, lost to Fordham 34-27
  • Dartmouth: defeated Holy Cross 13-10
  • Harvard: defeated Holy Cross 52-3, defeated Bucknell 35-7
  • Penn: lost to Lafayette, 28-21
  • Princeton: defeated Lafayette, 35-14, lost to Lehigh, 17-14, lost to Georgetown 21-20
  • Yale: defeated Georgetown 24-21, lost to Colgate 47-24, lost to Lafayette 20-10
