A headline for The Dartmouth's game story from Saturday's win at Yale refers to an "easy victory" and another story in the school paper offering up the top 10 Ivy League players on offense and defense to date begins with a mention of the Big Green's "dominating performance."
Likewise, the teaser above the masthead in the local daily yesterday referred to a Dartmouth "rout."
Green Alert Take: The 34-14 final score aside, Dartmouth-Yale six-point game midway through the fourth quarter before turning on a failed fake punt by the Bulldogs at their own 37. Workmanlike might be the description I'd use for the Big Green's win.
The Yale Daily has a story on the game.
By the way, the column listing the top Ivy players so far includes four Dartmouth names. Selected were quarterback Alex Park and running back Dominick Pierre on one side of the ball, with linebacker Michael Runger and defensive back Mike Banaciski on the other.

A nice story out of Rhode Island where "defensive backs coach Ryan Mattison is the third person from URI in the last 18 months to be an exact match found through the football team's annual bone marrow registration drive on behalf of Be the Match and the National Marrow Donor Program."The story has a wonderful lede:
Ryan Mattison will be sore for the next few days.
The family of the young child he donated bone marrow for will be grateful for the rest of their lives.
