Imagination At Work

Not sure if I posted this short video before but it's worth a second look even if I did . . .

Dartmouth and its immediate environs from a chopper

The New York Times reports that the NFL is forming . . .
". . . a partnership with General Electric to jump-start development of imaging technology that would detect concussions and encourage the creation of materials to better protect the brain.
"The four-year initiative, which is expected to begin in March with at least $50 million from the league and G.E., is the result of a late October conversation between Commissioner Roger Goodell and G.E.’s chief executive, Jeffrey Immelt, a former offensive tackle at Dartmouth."
The Times story includes a photo of Immelt in uniform.

By the way, that heading for this post is the GE slogan that replaced, We bring good things to life.
Former Dartmouth defensive end Malcolm Freberg '09 is back at it in another go-around of the TV show Survivor. Find an interview with him here.

True confession. I've never seen 30 seconds of Survivor but I have watched Monk. In case you are sitting around bored because there's nothing good to watch on TV tonight, there's a Monk marathon from 5-midnight ;-)
Sitting on the names of three potential recruits. Two sound legit but I can't find definitive proof and after getting bad info from one of the recruiting services last week I'm not taking any chances.
