Headed For The Silver Screen

Greetings from Happy Valley. Took down the tent after a 38-degree night (brrrr), packed up That Certain Nittany Lion at his dorm and we'll be on the road for the long trip back to Hanover in minutes. Be sure to check out BGA Premium tonight for a look at the incoming recruiting class and for coverage of the Green-White tomorrow. Action should start on Memorial Field around 10:15 (although the team will be out a little earlier).

The video is for Tackling Brazil, a film by a Dartmouth alum that is built around former Big Green safety Casey Frost's football and life adventure in South America. (Casey Frost's Dartmouth bio)

Here's part of the filmmaker's pitch for the movie:
My crew has worked on projects for Gatorade, Quaker Oats, Nike, Tropicana, and PepsiCo, along with shooting personal projects outside of the corporate world. In this current project we came together to tell the story of international athlete and dear friend, Casey Frost.
I knew Casey in college, where we became very good friends, and always discussed our plans for our lives after graduating.
There's still fund raising going on to get the project finished. Here's more:
If none of this pulls on your heartstrings, there is a romantic tale of two lovers at the heart of the film. Casey and his Brazilian girlfriend, Marina, are the central characters in the movie. Marina is a beautiful, intelligent, and funny woman who carries the film in her own right. Trust us, you will leave this film loving her as much as we do!
The film's Facebook open page is here.
