Bucknell's game notes for Saturday have been posted here. Among other trivia is this: Bucknell is 1-13 in its last 14 games against Ivy League teams.

The Championship Subdivision News (CSN) site points out that the Ivy League has its share of dual-threat quarterbacks, led by Dartmouth's Dalyn Williams (981 passing yards, 333 running with two touchdowns). That got me wondering what kind of numbers were put up by some of the better dual-threat QBs Dartmouth had had since I've been following the Big Green. Here's a glimpse at some of them:2002 Brian Mann – 2,913 yards passing, 393 yards and 4 TDs rushing
1996 Jon Aljancic – 1,856 yards passing, 367 yards and 10 TDs rushing
2012 Dalyn Williams – 974 yards passing, 262 yards and 3 TDs rushing#
2006 Mike Fritz – 1,482 yards passing, 300* yards and 1 TD rushing
1992 Jay Fiedler – 2,748 yards passing, 186 yards and 6 TDs rushing
2000 Brian Mann – 994 yards passing, 157 yards and 1 TD rushing
1993 Jay Fiedler – 2,542 yards passing, 143 yards and 6 TDs rushing
2007 Tom Bennewitz – 1,715 yards passing, 118 yards, 2 TDs rushing
* led team in rushing
# 3 starts
In case you were wondering, in 1978 Dartmouth quarterback Buddy Teevens passed for 1,396 yards and ran for 178 and four touchdowns ;-)

I'd be tempted to put Harvard's Zach Hodges on the Buck Buchanan Award list based entirely on the picture on The Sports Network site. Do check out the picture. Talk about Superman!TSN's picks this week (keeping in mind The Sports Network has nailed every Dartmouth game this fall):
- Dartmouth over Bucknell
- Princeton over Brown
- Penn over Columbia
- Harvard over Lafayette
- Fordham over Yale
- Holy Cross over Colgate
- Butler over Drake

Meant to let you know that we had our first wet snowflakes up here on the mountain earlier this week. It slipped my mind until getting an iMessage with a picture from That Certain '14 who reported she went for a quick dip in Mascoma Lake when she was out there for breakfast at a college official's home this week. Snowflakes and swimming in the same week!
