For the story (above) that I wrote about Dartmouth receivers coach and NFL veteran Cortez Hankton for the DP2 quarterly magazine PEAK, click here. The quarterly also includes stories I wrote on two Dartmouth soccer players originally from Africa, volleyball coach Erin Lindsey's leadership initiatives, and the world class athlete who offers massage and yoga to Big Green athletes.
Does The Sports Network know something we don't? TSN has correctly picked the first three Dartmouth games this fall. Choosing a struggling Holy Cross team to come into Memorial Field two weeks ago and win was dicey but that's what happened.

This week? TSN has Dartmouth beating undefeated Yale.

The outlet's other picks:

  • Harvard over Cornell
  • Brown over Bryant
  • Lehigh over Columbia
  • William & Mary over Penn
  • Princeton over Lafayette

  • Holy Cross over Bucknell
  • Butler over Campbell

The Yale Daily News has a story headlined: FOOTBALL: Keys to the game against Dartmouth. Nothing particularly surprising there but take a look.
The Columbia Spectator power rankings:
1. Harvard
2. Yale
3. Princeton
4. Penn
5. Brown
6. Dartmouth
7. Cornell
8. Columbia
He got his first start against Dartmouth and one game later Holy Cross quarterback Peter Pujals is a candidate for the Jerry Rice Award as the national freshman of the year as presented by The Sports Network. Find the watch list for the award here.
The Daily Pennsylvanian writes about Kyle Wilcox, the unheralded running back whose touchdown ended the Dartmouth-Penn marathon.

If you think Wilcox came out of nowhere, you don't know the half of it. Watch this video and tell me you won't be rooting for that kid the rest of the way. Wilcox, you may remember, was expected to enroll at Princeton.
