Jeff Mathews had four touchdown passes and ran for another as Penn's free-fall continued. Mathews passed for 467 yards as Cornell built a 42-21 lead and then needed a blocked PAT with 1:11 remaining to hold on and send the Quakers to their fourth loss in a row.
Brown 48, Columbia 7
Story and stats
John Spooney ran for 186 yards and Brown rolled up 627 yards of offense to doom the Lions to their first winless season since 1987. Columbia managed just 207 yards of offense and finished the season being outscored, 402-73.
Georgetown 28, Holy Cross 21
Story and stats
The Hoyas outgained the Crusaders on the ground, 212-59, intercepted Peter Pujals twice and ran off 21 consecutive points before Holy Cross made it close with a touchdown in the final minute in a surprise in Worcester.
Bucknell 35, VMI 23
Story and stats
Trailing 17-7 midway through the third quarter the Bison roared back to finish the season with a winning record. Starting with a victory at Dartmouth on Oct., 19, they went 5-1 the rest of the way with the lone loss a 23-21 stumble at 11-1 Fordham.

To the surprise of no one, Dartmouth's Abbey D'Agostino won the NCAA cross country championship Saturday, her fifth national championship spanning cross country, indoor and outdoor track.
