Former Big Green Coach Honored

Former Dartmouth defensive coordinator Rob Talley has been selected the Division II/III Coach of the Year by the New England Football Writers after helping Division II Stonehill to an 8-3 record and a share of the Northeast-10 football conference title. Talley's team was picked seventh in the preseason. All three losses this fall were to teams headed to the NCAA tournament.

The Skyhawks went 8-1 in NE-10 action. Talley has led Stonehill to back-to-back winning seasons in conference action for the first time in school history. Find the full release here.

Talley coached at Dartmouth from 1997-2004. Find his Stonehill bio here.
Scout.com has Dartmouth, Washington State and Tulane on a list of schools "offering" a 6-foot, 185-pound defensive back from New Orleans. That Dartmouth is on Blaise Brown's list probably shouldn't be a surprise given that Big Green assistant and former NFL wide receiver Cortez Hankton graduated from the same high school as did Albert Poree, Dartmouth offensive quality control assistant.

Brown is also a standout baseball player.
