Following up on yesterday's post about Colgate scheduling teams like Syracuse and the military academies, Holy Cross has announced a 2017 date at the University of Connecticut.From a Holy Cross release:

Penn's Dan Davis, Princeton's Mike Zeuli and Harvard's Eric Medes are among 38 linebackers named to the College Football Performance Awards preseason watch list. New Hampshire's Shane McNeely was recognized as well. Thanks to Penn for posting the entire list here.The release includes this:

In an AP story out of yesterday's White House summit on concussions in youth athletes Thayer School's Richard Greenwald, co-founder and president of Simbex (Head Inpact Telemetry System), was quoted (LINK):Dartmouth researcher Richard Greenwald said Obama hit the right notes with his remarks but that it was important to realize that a lot of work remains before the problem can be considered solved.
''Public awareness is a great thing as long as it leads to better diagnosis, better treatment, better coaching, better outcomes,'' Greenwald said.
