If A Beats B, And B Beats C . . .

From an emailer:

Dartmouth beat Yale, 38-31
Yale beat Army, 49-43
Army beat Ball State, 33-24
Ball State beat Central Michigan, 32-29
Central Michigan beat Purdue, 38-17
Purdue beat Illinois, 38-27
(Illinois beat Penn State 16-14) Had to stick that one in there, didn't you? ;-)
Illinois beat Minnesota, 28-24
Minnesota beat Michigan, 30-14
Minnesota beat Nebraska, 28-24

THEREFORE…ACCORDING TO THE NUMBERS...
Dartmouth beats Penn State 55-0
Dartmouth beats Michigan 73-0
Dartmouth beats Nebraska 61-0
We were all set to head over to Durham yesterday to watch the New Hampshire-Fordham game in the second round of the FCS playoffs but snow here on the mountain and an "icy mix" between here and Concord made that seem like a bad idea so I watched the game instead on ESPN3. The top-ranked Wildcats piled up 544 yards of offense and earned a 44-19 win despite turning the ball over two times deep in Fordham territory. (LINK)

UNH will now play host to Chattanooga, a 35-14 winner over Indiana State. We had been planning to go over for that game but it is slated for 8 at night (brrrr), meaning it won't finish until after 11 p.m., and that wouldn't get us home until after 1 a.m.
