I read that Coastal Carolina is adding three mid-year transfers. For a kid transferring down from an FBS school being able to practice in the spring and then play immediately in the fall is appealing. That's not something Dartmouth can offer because it doesn't take transfers at mid-year.

We made it to Madison, Wis., at noon Tuesday. We'll do a drive-through tour of That Certain '14's new work campus today and then we're going to try to get tickets for the the Wisconsin-Penn State noon basketball game on the street. Then it's down to Hinsdale, Ill., where TC'14 will meet up with Dartmouth friends for New Year's Eve and I'll begin the train trip back home by taking a local train into Chicago. The Lakeshore Limited train to Springfield, Mass., leaves tonight.
