I'm a day late with this but former Dartmouth wide receiver John Idzik '82, has been let go after his second year as the New York Jets' general manager. As this NJ.com story notes, Idzik had one arm tied behind his back with the Jets after inheriting coach Red Ryan, who also was dumped after a 4-12 season.
