Two Football Seniors Bid To Bring Rugby Title Back To Hanover

On the far left in the back row of this picture of the Dartmouth rugby "Sevens" team is former Big Green tailback/safety Cody Patch. Next to him is Steve Dazzo, co-captain of the Dartmouth football team last fall and a member of the All-Ivy second team as a safety.

Dazzo, Patch and the Dartmouth rugby team will be in Philadelphia this weekend competing in the Collegiate Rugby Championships at PPL Park. Dartmouth won the event in 2011 and 2012.

The Big Green will play St. Joseph's this morning at 10:40, Penn State at 2 p.m. in a game to be broadcast on NBC, and Arizona at 5:40 p.m. on NBCSports Network. After Saturday's pool play the quarters, semifinals and finals will be played Sunday.
