From the Ivy League:
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ivy League football has two weekends remaining with Harvard in control of its own destiny to capture its 17th conference title and tie Dartmouth for the most all-time.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK, CO-SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK & ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Harvard freshman wide receiver Justice Shelton-Mosley (Sacramento, Calif.) was nearly a one-man show in the Crimson's 24-16 victory at Columbia. Shelton-Mosley accumulated 270 all-purpose yards, the most since senior running back Paul Stanton, Jr. had 275 all-purpose yards at Penn on Nov. 14, 2014. Shelton-Mosley totalled 131 receiving yards, 121 punt returns and 18 kick return yards. He made eight catches, including a 26-yard touchdown grab in the second quarter, to go along with an 86-yard punt return for a score in the fourth quarter. That punt return was the third-longest for a touchdown in school history.
Shelton-Mosley's Statistics for the Week
8 rec. for 131 yds., 1 TD, 121 PR yds., 1 TD, 18 KOR yds.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK & CO-SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Penn junior linebacker Donald Panciello (Succasunna, N.J.) single-handedly sent the homecoming crowd into a frenzy and the game with archrival Princeton into extra time in the Quakers' 26-23 overtime win. Panciello blocked the potential game-winning field goal as time expired. Penn went on to win in the first overtime period to keep its Ivy League title aspirations alive. He also added nine tackles (four solo), including back-to-back, game-saving tackles and the biggest tackle for loss of the season. With Penn trailing and Princeton with third and goal from the three-yard line in the fourth quarter, Panciello stood up the rusher and held him just short of the goal line for several seconds before teammates helped wrestle him to the ground. Then on fourth and goal from the one-yard line, he came off the edge and made the tackle at the two-yard line to give Penn the ball back with just a three-point deficit. A few minutes later, the Quakers hit the game-tying field goal, which held up due to his blocked field goal as time expired in regulation.
