Elsewhere, the WG have . . .
Harvard by 25 points over Columbia
Penn by 4.5 over Princeton
Yale by 1.5 over Brown
Green Alert Take: The announcing crew might want to have a lot of small-talk material lined up if the Wise Guys have it right. The contrast between last Friday's TV game and this Friday's TV game would be stark.

Speaking of the Cornell game, the Big Red game notes have been posted HERE. With Cornell still seeking its first win, Dartmouth's journey from Ivy League also-ran to Ivy League contender is serving as a role model:For the second straight week, the Big Red will meet a team with a graduate of that school leading a program and tasked with rebuilding after many down years (Princeton’s Bob Surace and Dartmouth’s BuddyTeevens), much like Cornell’s David Archer‘05 is doing now for Cornell.
Like Archer, Teevens took the long view in rebuilding Dartmouth to not just have a winning team, but build a winning program.
Teevens was 4-16 in his first two years back in Hanover (same as Archer) and went 0-10 in year four as he gradually built the Dartmouth program back into the championship picture.

A couple of other things of interest from the Cornell notes . . .They call last week's Dartmouth game with Harvard, "one of the most hotly-anticipated and fiercely-contested Ivy contests in years." Got it right on both accounts ;-)
And they refer to Dartmouth as, "featuring All-America candidate and Ivy League Player of the Year frontrunner Dalyn Williams at quarterback." Probably got that right, too.

A Cornell player, by the way, has started an initiative called The Wilson Project. A story about the idea begins this way:Handing off a football gives a team a chance to move forward, to gain another yard. But what if the actual act of handing the football off allowed for something else?
What if it allowed you to say thank you, or reassure someone they aren't alone in their journey?
Read about The Wilson Project HERE.

While Dartmouth remained in the STATS top-25 at No. 24 the FCS Coaches poll has Harvard No. 18 with Dartmouth "dropping from rankings."
The Big Green is 27th. Included in the rankings are four teams with 4-4 records: Northern Iowa, Youngstown State, Montana and Montana State.
Green Alert Take: Tough to be downgraded for a one-point loss, on the road, to the No. 15 team.
