Harvard gets the offensive player of the week in the Ivy League (quarterback Scott Hosch) and the defensive player (linebacker Jacob Lindsey).

Dartmouth's Dalyn Williams and linebacker Will McNamara were named to the honorable-mention team.

Here's what the release said about each.
Dalyn Williams, Dartmouth (Sr., QB - Corinth, Texas) 24-42-0, 311 yds.
Will McNamara, Dartmouth (Sr., LB - Chicago) 14 tkls. (5 solo), 2 INTs
Green Alert Take: When I worked in the Dartmouth sports information office I had to pick players of the week for the Ivy League in one sport, and as a Gold Helmet selector I choose the outstanding players in New England once each fall. That being the case, I know how ridiculously hard it is to make the right selection, which is why it pains me to go off on a rant, but I am going to.

Will McNamara should have been no worse than defensive co-player of the week. (And I'm no fan of sharing awards like that.) Left out of his accomplishments is this important detail: Both of his interceptions came on Harvard drives deep into Dartmouth territory, and they came on consecutive possessions bracketing halftime. The Crimson is notorious for ending one half with a score, starting the second with another, and riding that momentum to an easy win. McNamara's two picks – one made with one hand – kept the Crimson off the board on both occasions. It's just my opinion but those interceptions combined with a whopping 14 tackles deserved to be recognized by more than just honor roll status.
