Former tight end Dean Bakes '14 is founder and creative director at Charles Dean, whose "purpose is to revitalize men's luxury tailoring by combining the spirit and sensibility of past eras with our bolder aesthetic that leverages the finest fabrics and craftsmanship in the world."

Prior to Charles Dean, Bakes was an associate merchandise planner for Ralph Lauren. He also did an internship with Ralph Lauren.

A National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society member, Bakes caught nine passes for 109 yards as a senior, including an 11-yard touchdown in the third quarter of the longest Ivy League game ever, Dartmouth's 37-31, four-overtime loss at Penn.
