This And That

The Salem (Mass.) News has a story about Dartmouth junior Lucas Bavaro, who shared the nickelback position with Frankie Hernandez during the fall. Bavaro sounds optimistic talking about next season. Find the story HERE.
The Great Falls Tribune's Super-State prep football team for Montana is lead by Havre quarterback Dane Warp, who has drawn interest from Dartmouth but may be making a college decision based on what sport he chooses to play. From the STORY:
A starter since his freshman season, Warp accumulated 11,324 total yards in his four years, breaking Mark Desin’s state record. The multi-dimensional signal-caller also holds state marks in career passing yards (10,801) and touchdowns (101).
“Obviously, he is an athletic talent,” Havre head coach Mark Samson said. “He can throw it and runs fairly well. I think he got better as the year progressed.”
Warp, a 4.0 student, completed 69.4 percent of his throws this season. The 6-foot-4, 190-pounder will likely decide between Carroll and Dartmouth. Carroll is recruiting him to play shooting guard on its basketball team, while the Ivy League member wants him to play quarterback.
A posting on the Forbes website asks, "(I)f concussions, and the fear of them, do end up hurting football participation, what replaces it?
