Big Day Ahead

A dozen or more pro scouts could be in attendance Saturday when Dartmouth holds its Pro Day in Hanover. Expected to participate:
• Defensive tackle AJ Zuttah
• Defensive end Cody Fullerton
• Linebacker Zach Slafsky
• Corner Vernon Harris
• Corner Chai Reece
• Safety Troy Donahue
• Quarterback Dalyn Williams
• Wide receiver Ryan McManus
• Wide receiver Victor Williams
• Center Jacob Flores
Also, four players from the University of New Hampshire and one from St. Anselm.
The Mobile Virtual Player, pioneered at Dartmouth, is in a testing stage through Rogers Athletic Company in Michigan. It was on display at Michigan State's spring practice and got an "awesome" headline. Find the story HERE.

The MVP also was on display at Davenport University in Grand Rapids. Find a story HERE.
Kevin Demoff '99, Tuck '06, who runs the NFL's Rams (and used to call Big Green games on the radio and write about them for the school newspaper) is quoted in a Sports Illustrated story about the team moving to Los Angeles. From the story:
Says Rams CEO Kevin Demoff, “No matter what the outcome was, whether we moved or didn’t, I think there’s a tremendous amount of relief among our people in just knowing what the future holds.”
And . . .
Demoff, the slender, Dartmouth-schooled executive, took a moment to soak in the Southern California sunshine before surveying the giant white tent that will serve as the weight room.
“Just look at this weather,” he said with a laugh. “We’re going to be the softest team.”

Find a Demoff bio from this month's MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference HERE.

(Editor's Note: I have to laugh. I stumbled across this story while wearing a Rams hat that Demoff gave me a couple of years ago when he was back in Hanover. ;-)
