A Fine Day

There wasn't a cloud in the sky on a chamber of commerce day for the Friends of Dartmouth Football Golf Classic. A few snaps I took . . .

Silent warriors oversee the silent auction.
If you went away hungry it was your own fault ;-)
Chatting with Curt Oberg '78, center, and Byron Anderson '76, right, is all-time great defensive back Willie Bogan  '71, a summa cum laude graduate of Dartmouth and Rhodes Scholar who went on to earn a law degree from Stanford. Bogan was Dartmouth's honoree at the 2013 Ivy Football Association dinner. (LINK)
Saddle up!
Teammates in non-golfer Tim McManus' group were incredulous when his 160-yard approach to the  elevated second green dropped as if from a parachute four feet from the cup. Proving he's human, he missed the putt. Perhaps proving otherwise later in the round, he won a closest to the pin prize. McManus is a medical student at Ohio State.
Speaking of not human . . .
