One Day In The Books

BGA Premium practice coverage began yesterday with a look at the opening session of the preseason camp on Memorial Field. Check in tonight for a story out of the second practice along with the detailed Harvard preseason preview.

A reminder that 2015 subscriptions have run out so if you want to read about Dartmouth football every day until the end of the season – seven days a week – be sure to re-up ;-)
The local Valley News has a story out of the first practice session HERE.

The Great Falls Tribune has a story about the curious departure from Yale of heralded freshman running back Andrew Grinde, the 2014 Montana Gatorade Player of the Year.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of our national parks there's "An Evening at the Park" celebration tonight at Yellowstone and among the rangers attending in full dress regalia (ie. Smoky Bear hat etc.) will be That Certain Dartmouth '14 (who, by the way, worked in the Memorial Field press box on Saturday afternoons from the time she was 7 or 8 until she graduated).

The celebration of "America's best idea" will be streamed HERE.

After teasing you upon our return from Yellowstone about what That Certain '14 would be doing this winter this is as good a time as any to let you know. While she was invited back to the Everglades for a second winter and would have loved to continue running the program she helped start last year, growing up on Moose Mountain and studying Earth Science at Dartmouth she's more comfortable in the mountains. So she looked for something that would allow her to spend a winter in Yellowstone, experiencing the park when the crowds are gone, and hitting the trails on cross country skis in her free time. So what will she be doing? She'll be sharing her knowledge of the park, its wildlife and its geology with visitors from around the world while driving one of THESE THINGS. Seriously, how cool is that?
