On Heneghan, Orimolade And Recruiting

Dartmouth quarterback Jack Heneghan is one of 44 student-athletes elected to the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association Academic All-Star team for his performance on the field and in the classroom.

An economics major who came into the season with a 3.81 GPA, the 6-foot-4 junior led the Ivy League in yards passing (2,725) and total offense (2,974). Find the Dartmouth release on his selection HERE.
Dartmouth senior Flo Orimolade is the lone Ivy League to earn votes for the Buck Buchanan Award, symbolic of the top defensive player in the FCS. (LINK)
There's no indication on his Twitter whether Oklahoma All-District 5A-2 quarterback Jarett Lewis intends to play football in college but his feed (LINK) does list him as a member of the Dartmouth Class of 2021. The 6-foot, 185-pound Lewis threw for 26 touchdowns and more than 1,800 yards this year while leading Oklahoma City's Bishop McGuinness to a 12-2 record and a berth in the state championship game. Check out his highlights HERE.

Heading this way – for a visit at least – is first-team Washington all-state running back JJ Jerome who ran for 2,050 yards and 27 touchdowns at Monroe last fall with a long run of 96 yards. The 6-foot, 210/225-pound (depending on which service you believe) Jerome also caught 30 passes for 335 yards and four touchdowns. A Northwest Elite report also lists him as setting up trips to Montana State and Central Washington. He's also a talented linebacker.

Jerome ran for 3,992 yards and 59 touchdowns in three varsity years, with 59 touchdowns. He averaged 9.1 yards per carry in his career. (Statistics) Find his highlights HERE.
The news on Lewis and Jerome came from a couple of loyal BGA readers. If you stumble across recruiting news it's a huge help if you can send it along. Thanks!
