On 'Coach T'

From the Dartmouth football office:

The Dartmouth duo hoping to make NFL teams got the bad news in the final round of cuts. Flo Orimolade '17 was let go by the Los Angeles Rams despite a strong exhibition finale against the Packers and Vernon Harris '16 was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Two of Dartmouth's nonconference opponents faced off Saturday and if the result is any indication, it would appear one is a good deal stronger than the other.

Sacred Heart ran for 301 yards, got a 13-for-16 passing performance from its new quarterback and limited Stetson to 10 first downs and 145 total yards in a 42-3 shellacking before a crowd of 2,992 in Fairfield, Conn.

Dartmouth will face Stetson in its opener Sept. 16 in Deland, Fla., and will visit Sacred Heart on Oct. 14.

Sacred Heart quarterback Kevin Duke, finally getting his chance as a senior with the graduation of four-year starter RJ Noel, threw for 155 yards and one touchdown and ran for 81 yards and three touchdowns. He was 12-for-13 passing in the first half.

Stetson's Colin McGovern completed 13-of-23 passes for 127 yards. The Hatters' leading rusher, Bryce Blackmon, had just 26 yards on nine carries.
Dartmouth has its first day off of the preseason today. Not so BGA Premium, which will have a story up tonight ;-)
