On Your Mark

Starting to round into form after the football season, a pair of Big Green freshman transitioning from the gridiron made their Dartmouth Relays debut over the weekend at Leverone Field House.

Running the 400 as well as a leg of the 4x400 relay was wide receiver Masaki Aerts, a two-time-time New Balance All-American and the 2017 400-meter Emerging Elite National Champion.

Throwing the shot was defensive end Seth Walter, who won a Florida state championship last year in just his second year competing in the event.

The Dartmouth women's team won its eighth consecutive Dartmouth Relays while the men saw a string of six consecutive titles snapped when they finished second to Northeastern.

Aerts, Walter and their teammates will be looking to peak the weekend of Feb. 24-25 when the Heps will be staged at Leverone Field House.
