Have A Question For Coach?

The third of four Saturday practice reports on BGA this spring will feature Buddy Teevens answering your Questions For Coach. The posting will appear on the BGA Premium site and the page will be made available to non-subscribers several days later, so be sure to send those questions along.

To submit a question to BGA via email CLICK HERE. That will address an email with the subject line, QuestionsForCoach. A selection of questions will be chosen for Saturday's posting.
The site Sports360AZ has a posting under the headline, So You Want to Be Recruited in Football by the Ivy League? Although it's pretty basic stuff it might be worth a click HERE even for those who have been around the block a few times.
A high school player with seven games of football experience already has 25 scholarship offers from big-time programs, but don't rule out Dartmouth and the Ivies. From a Land Of 10 story:
David Ojabo, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound defensive lineman, first put on shoulder pads last August. Offer No. 1 arrived from Rutgers in late November. Since mid-February, the list of suitors has included Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Penn State and Tennessee. Considering the precedence he places on earning a high-level business degree, it’s important to note that Ivy League universities Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard and Yale also are in pursuit.
“For any Nigerian, education is very important,” Ojabo said. “We won’t get away with just being good at football. Academics will be a very big factor in my choice.”
If you haven't done so already, check out last night's BGA Premium for a story on Dartmouth offensive lineman Sean Dowling, who is combining spring football with rugby. While the Big Green is holding its spring game on May 5 the 6-foot-3, 300-pound freshman will be playing in the 1AA national championship rugby game in California. Dowling was an All-America rugby player while in high school in Virginia.
