With Jimmy Garoppolo out for the season as the result of a torn ACL, the San Francisco 49ers need quarterback help. Check this out from 247Sports (LINK):

In most likelihood, the 49ers will simply put C.J. Beathard into the starting spot, promote Nick Mullens from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, then just add a young quarterback to the practice squad in place of Mullens -- possibly undrafted rookie Jack Heneghan, who was with the team in the preseason.
