Meanwhile In NYC

One of the strange things about moving from an off-the-grid house to one with electricity is that now the electricity can go out, which it did this morning. It's finally back on but I've got to roll pretty soon so this will have to be quick.

FRIDAY WRAP
Princeton 45, Columbia 10
This might have been more of a referendum on the Tigers than on the Lions, and the high-octane Princeton offense passed the test with flying colors. Against a Columbia defense ranked second in the nation against the run (behind only Dartmouth) the Tigers piled up 360 rushing yards with quarterback John Lovett carrying 15 times for 176 yards in the first half. Speedster Colin Eaddy added 102 yards on just six carries.

Princeton scored on eight of  its first nine possessions. Lovett ran for two scores and passed for two more while hitting 12-of-22 passes for 135 yards. Columbia managed just 80 yards on the ground and 133 passing without its starting quarterback, out with a concussion.
