Elsewhere . . .

The offshore Wise Guys have had their say and if they have it right Holy Cross, which pushed Patriot League favorite Colgate before losing last week, 24-17, is going to have a really tough time against Boston College. The Eagles are coming off a 55-21 win over UMass. Here's how the Wise Guys see Dartmouth's nonconference opponents this week:

• Holy Cross is a 43.5-point underdog against BC
• Georgetown is a 1-point underdog against Campbell
• Sacred Heart is a 2-point favorite over Bucknell
While we weren't looking, old friend Butler got a 44-yard field goal with four seconds remaining in its opener to win at No. 24 Youngstown State, 23-21.
Speaking of upsets, there have been five FCS wins over FBS teams so far this young season:

UC Davis 44, San Jose State 38
Villanova 19, Temple 17
Nicholls 26, Kansas 23
Northern Arizona 30, UTEP 10
North Carolina A&T 28, East Carolina 23

With the Dartmouth seniors' final season a week-and-a-half away here's a look at the video put together by the football office introducing them prior to their freshman year. As is the case with virtually every football program in the country, there are a few players no longer with the program but it's fun to take a look back at those who stuck around:
