Series(ously)

Following up on yesterday's post about Dartmouth's record against Ivy League opponents since the start of formal conference play, here's the Big Green's all-time record against Ancient Eight foes:

Columbia 69-19-1 (.781)
Brown  60-32-4 (.646)
Cornell 61-40-1 (.603)
Princeton 49-45-2 (.521)
Yale 42-54-6 (.441)
Penn 36-48-2 (.430)
Harvard 46-71-5 (.397)

A few all-time odds and ends . . .

Dartmouth's record against six of the Ivy League schools has been better since the start of formal Ivy League play than all-time. The outlier is Harvard, which the Big Green has a .397 winning percentage against overall but just .381 since 1956. ... The Crimson has a losing record against two Ivy foes. It is 48-56-7 against Princeton (.464) and 60-67-8 against Yale (.467). . . . The only school other than Dartmouth to have a winning record against Princeton is Yale, which is 77-54-10 (.582). ... The worst series marks by far belong to Columbia, which is 16-71-1 against Princeton (.187) and 14-62-1 against Harvard (.188).
