Take Me Out To The (Football) Game

Dartmouth continues pushing the Nov. 9 game against Princeton at Yankee Stadium:

The game is both a celebration of 250 years of Dartmouth College and 150 years of college football.
It's no surprise as Craig Haley of STATS jumps on the bandwagon and picks Yale in the Ivy League race. He also goes with Dartmouth opponent Colgate in the Patriot. (LINK)
Callie Brownson's move from Dartmouth quality control assistant/recruiting coordinator to intern with the Buffalo Bills was reported in USA Today, in Rochester's Democrat & Chronicle, on WROC TV, and locally on WPTZ TV among other outlets.

The Vermont WVNY report:

The Daily Pennsylvanian has a story about former Penn Quaker linebacker Brandon Copeland  being suspended by the New York Jets for four games for violating NFL policy on performance-enhancing drugs. (LINK)
Speaking of the Quakers, a story on the American Football International website under the headline American Football Poised To Become One of the Leading Sports in China included this:
The American Football League of China (AFLC) All-Stars, a team made of several clubs, played against the University of Pennsylvania in the Global Ambassadors Bowl in March.
The coaches of the two teams met a few days before the match, which happened in Shanghai.
Penn was the first Ivy League team and beat the All-Stars 85-0, but Ray Priore, the Penn head coach, said the Chinese team had players who were good enough to play in his team.
The BGA Premium season preview series continued last night with a look at Harvard. Penn is on tap tomorrow followed by Princeton on Friday and Yale on Saturday. Full coverage of Dartmouth preseason football practice begins with the first session on Sunday. A reminder that every official Dartmouth practice since 2005 has been covered on BGA.
