Coming This Spring

It's official. The Dartmouth Pro Day is slated for April 2, starting at 9 a.m.

According to defensive line coach Duane Brooks, the Dartmouth pro liaison, early interest suggests this year's Big Green pro hopefuls could draw more scouts than even the class of 2015 attracted.

Among those slated to work out that day are corner Isiah Swann, defensive lineman Niko Lalos, offensive lineman Zach Sammartino, defensive lineman Jackson Perry, receiver Hunter Hagdorn, quarterback Jared Gerbino, linebacker Nigel Alexander and perhaps several others.
Speaking of pro hopefuls, the site DraftRite breaks down Sammartino HERE. While the beginning of the entry made me wonder what was coming, it finished on an up note:
I like him as a developmental day three project in a power zone scheme, someone that could work into a starting role over the next couple of years.
The NCAA is working on a potential change that could result in immediate eligibility one time for football players (among others). who transfer Bleacher Report has a story HERE.

The rule would add football, men's and women's basketball , baseball and men's hockey to the list of sports where the one-time exception already exists. (LINK)
