Macklin Ayers’ numbers the past two seasons have been pretty amazing.
The Upper Dauphin senior quarterback/linebacker has accounted for 4,631 yards — 2,601 rushing, 2,030 passing — and 58 touchdowns. He has also collected 131 tackles — 19 for loss — with six sacks and four interceptions.The story says Ayers held a preferred walk-on spot at Penn State and received his initial offer from Lafayette. He also plays basketball at Upper Dauphin.
