The college has issued a press release under the headline: Dartmouth Will Weather Pandemic's Financial Challenges
Local eateries Boloco and Lou's have teamed up in a Feed the Frontline effort to provide food for those on the frontline of the pandemic. From their GoFundMe pages (Boloco, Lou's):
Every $5 you donate directly provides a burrito or a bowl to feed hospital workers, civil servants, police, fire, and other restaurant and essential workers who are out on the frontline. As an example, if you donate $50, that means 10 meals will be provided to the frontline organization of your choice or, if you prefer, our choice... in Greater Boston area as well as in the Upper Valley of NH/VT.
EXTRA POINT
In addition to watching old movies and reading to pass the time, Mrs. BGA and I have finished one jigsaw puzzle and are putting together another. One thing we've learned putting this latest puzzle together is that if the subject is a painting, it can be a lot more difficult to complete than if it is a photograph. Photos are usually crisp with sharp lines. Paintings? Not so much. There's a fine line between fun and frustration ;-)

We'll finish this one – eventually – and go digging through a couple of boxes of stuff we had designated for the next charity rummage sale and hopefully find another. Fingers crossed if we find one it is a photo.

True confession time. When I was a bratty kid we used to do puzzles on the screened porch during summer vacation at a cabin on the lake and I used to hide one piece to make sure I was the one to finish the puzzle.
