Defensive back DJ Avery tells the newspaper:
“Mental reps are the biggest thing during this time. As long as you are right in your mental approach and update all you want to do, you don’t want to lose that information.
“You’re looking at past games or past practices, going through your head imagining what you want to do better or do different on a play. Especially for the young guys who aren’t all comfortable with the playbook, it can be a big help.”And this from receiver/returner Drew Estrada:
" . . .(F)or me as an individual, a challenge like this is something that tests how much you love the game, especially when you’re away from your teammates. It could have benefits in the end, how you operate on your own. How we can become flexible to these circumstances, that could prove beneficial. I guess that’s something that I can look forward to."Find the full story HERE.

The website for WROC-TV in upstate New York has a story under the headline, Rochester NFL hopefuls impress scouts, virtually, at pro day. Among those participating was graduating Dartmouth quarterback Jared Gerbino, hoping to impress with his receiving skills.
Gerbino had this to say in the story (and accompanying video):
“Since I didn’t have any film at all, I had some receiving film from my sophomore year and what not but not enough for scouts to be able to watch, so I’m glad that I was able to run some routes. I felt really good on them.”Read the story HERE.

Most of his action so far has been with the junior varsity but "skicker" (that's skier+kicker in Buddy Teevens' talk) Kalle Wagner has earned a special honor on the snow (or more accurately in the classroom).Wagner has been named by the United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association (USCSCA) to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team. He's one of 14 Dartmouth skiers so honored. (LINK)
