Where Were You When This Happened?

We can all use a smile and for a Dartmouth football fan even in these difficult times the short video below should elicit that response. (For a Harvard fan, not so much ;-)

Why reference the soon-to-be legendary Kyler-to-Aerts Hail Mary again? Because of a posting earlier this month by fellow named Steve Koreivo.

The New Jersey man has been going to college football games at every level for 40 years, topping the 600-game mark last fall, seeing every FBS team at least once since starting in 1979, and even self-publishing a book about his football adventures. (LINK)

Koreivo explains on his website that, “We try to attend the most competitive games we can find every time we go to a game played at any level.” To his credit, he outdid himself in that regard in 2019. He attended 24 games and no fewer than 10 went down to the final minute.

On April 8 Koreivo posted a story about the 10 most dramatic finishes he saw in person and, not surprisingly, Dartmouth-Harvard won the prize as his No. 1 nailbiter. Check out his posting HERE and scroll down to read an exhaustive play-by-play of the sequence.

Green Alert Take: One note. While it adds to the drama, the "00" is the play clock not the game clock. ;-)

EXTRA POINT
No question, a stay-at-home order is tough if you live in a city. It's a little easier here in Vermont.

This is our beloved 1984 VW pop-top camper (AKA the BGA mobile office) parked next to our garage. With room to sleep two upstairs and two more downstairs, a sink, a stovetop, a fridge and a gorgeous view, it offers a chance to get away without even starting the engine (although not last night when the temperature dropped to 25 degrees).

Stay safe everyone!
