Following up on the HERO Sports posting yesterday about the 25 leading quarterbacks in the FCS, here is a list using the Pro Football Focus (PFF) database and grading system that suggests Dartmouth will face three of the top 15 QBs as measured statistically this fall (LINK):
8. Blake Stenstrom, Princeton
12. Nolan Grooms, Yale
15. Max Brosmer, New Hampshire
Mathew Sluka of Holy Cross was ranked second.

An Axios piece notes that a whopping 8,699 NCAA football players entered the portal between Aug. 1 of last year and May 1. More than 20 percent of all FBS players entered the portal. Colorado led the way with 71 players going the portal route. (LINK)

EXTRA POINT
I'm a little tired this morning because Mrs. BGA and I stayed up later than usual last night to see if we could catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Spoiler alert: We did not.
Numerous reports suggested there was a good chance the light show would be visible in our part of the world (LINK). Fortunately, the sky was clear.
Unfortunately, the only neighbor to our north that we can see has a motion-activated spotlight that kept coming on, perhaps when the wind stirred up his American flag. Our eyes would have finally adjusted to total darkness when the neighbor's light would come on. We'd wait it out, our eyes would finally adjust to the darkness and the light would come back on. Very frustrating.
So no, we didn't get a look at the Northern Lights this time. But we'll keep trying because they can be spectacular. How spectacular?
