For the second time in as many days it's all quiet on the Dartmouth football front.

In other Big Green sports, Dartmouth men's ice hockey completed a quarterfinal sweep of the ECAC playoffs against Union with a 7-2 win and now heads to a Friday semifinal at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid against a to-be-determined opponent. (LINK)

The Big Green will be joined in the semis by top-seeded Quinnipiac, sixth-seeded Cornell and the winner of Sunday's game between second-seeded Clarkson and seventh-seeded Harvard. A win for the Crimson would see Dartmouth end up playing Cornell. Big Green would face Clarkson should the Golden Knights win this afternoon in Potsdam.

Dartmouth is now 18-12-2. The Big Green was 2-0 against Cornell and Harvard this winter, 1-1 on the  against Quinnipiac, and 0-2 against Clarkson.

On the hardwood, Dartmouth's first appearance in the four-team Ivy League men's basketball tournament saw Cornell come away with an 87-71 win in Providence. Cornell will play regular-season champion Yale today for the Ivy League's automatic bid to the NCAA's. The Bulldogs survived Princeton yesterday, 59-57.

Predicted to finish in the Ivy League basement, Dartmouth surprised the "experts" by going 8-6 in Ivy League play to finish tied for third in the standings. The Big Green closed out the season at 14-14 overall.
