Curious why Dartmouth does not have a senior quarterback on its roster this fall? The lone QB in the 2022 recruiting class – who would have been a senior this fall – was Logan Klitsch, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound dual-threat. He spent just one season in Hanover before transferring to Division III Lebanon Valley College, about 20 miles from his Pennsylvania home.
Currently listed as a redshirt junior, Klitsch is the starter this fall at Lebanon Valley. In last week’s opener he completed 16-of-30 passes for 218 yards and one touchdown in a 31-21 loss to Franklin & Marshall. He also ran 12 times for 21 yards and a touchdown. Find his LV bio HERE.

Speaking of quarterbacks, TJ Finley started five games at LSU as a freshman and is now at his sixth school. After LSU, he spent two years at Auburn before moving on to Texas State, Western Kentucky, Tulane and now Georgia State. Find a story HERE.

What it might eventually mean for FCS players isn’t clear, but per the AP (LINK):
"The NCAA’s FBS Oversight Committee has recommended eliminating the spring transfer window and having just a 10-day window starting on Jan. 2.”
And:
The committee is also proposing that December be a recruiting dead period. Coaches would still be able to call, write, text or email prospects, but visits on or off campus, would not be allowed.
Green Alert Take: Given impending roster limits, there could eventually be ramifications for those players who will not be part of an FBS team and are looking to move down.

EXTRA POINT
Was only going to post in this spot that we just had some unusual morning thunder and are getting at least a little much-needed rain. But for the longtime BGA readers who have been following her since she was a middle schooler, I thought I’d also share a photo That Certain Dartmouth ’14 sent this way after she spent a day off from her duties at Bryce Canyon National Park yesterday hiking 12,169-foot Delano Peak in Utah’s Tushar Mountains.
