Another Dartmouth highlight video, again expertly produced by Chris Feller, video coordinator and assistant director of football operations. His earlier video Boys of Dartmouth is available here.

This from a public message board posting:Dear (Dartmouth) Football Parents,An under-the-radar commit two years ago, Gay appeared in 10 games as a sophomore linebacker, posting 26 tackles with one sack for 10 yards and two tackles for a loss.
Just wanted our Dartmouth Football Family to be aware of something going on with one of our team members... Miles Gay ('13) is studying abroad in Barcelona and his Mom, Monika, asked if I would let you all know what's going on with her son for support and prayers. Miles became very ill in Barcelona on Monday with headache, chest pain, cough, etc. - and as the pain was getting worse, Miles decided to go to the hospital to be checked out. Turns out, Miles has pneumonia that is not responding well to IV antibiotics. He is in severe pain (chest pain that radiates all the way down to his hip), and very short of breath. The doctors in Spain say that he now has a massive infection that has spread to the lining of his lungs, and there is a possibility of fluid building up in the lungs. A CT scan was done today and the results will not be available until tomorrow. Another complicating factor is that Miles has asthma as a pre-existing condition. Miles' mom is flying to Barcelona tomorrow since the doctors say Miles cannot travel. He remains in the hospital and I will keep you all updated as I receive information from Monika.
Dartmouth College and the Football Office are working with the doctors in Barcelona too - and Monika says Dartmouth has also been extremely helpful and supportive. Miles' mom is very appreciative of everyones care and concern.
The other news Monika wanted to pass along is this... the other boys who are also studying in Barcelona have been AMAZING! They are all being so supportive, bringing him DVD's, snacks, etc. Monika says to tell you that this is proof of what a FAMILY those boys are to each other!
Please keep Miles in your thoughts and prayers!
Thanks!

Whenever a Dartmouth team knocks off a Harvard team in playoff or tournament action it's a story so check out the Daily Dartmouth's recap of the Big Green's 4-1 win over the Crimson last night in the ECAC women's ice hockey semifinals.*
Ouch. From the University of Connecticut's Daily Campus newspaper:According to a new financial document obtained by The Daily Campus, the UConn athletic department valued their Fiesta Bowl losses at $1,663,560.

And finally, come along for the ride on a 4-minute trip out our driveway and down Moose Mountain to the always-interesting "S" curves on the way into town in a video clip I shot it last week on a lark with a Flip camera That Certain Hanover High Junior got for Christmas. Using iMovie, I was able to take out most of the shakiness that came with shooting through the window of the car on a bumpy, snow-covered dirt road while Mrs. BGA drove. (OK, it's shaky for the first few seconds – but only because someone who shall remain nameless forgot to "stabilize" that clip. After that it's pretty smooth sailing.) The video even holds up played full screen. Oh, and while it might look as if we are out in the middle of nowhere, it's 7.5 miles from our driveway to campus ;-)
