Wednesday Filler

In case you were wondering you are now looking at Blogger post 6,279 for BGA Daily dating back to 2006. Given that the daily postings started on another platform a full year earlier, the guess here is that the actual number of posts is over 6,500. Wonder why I keep this thing going? Me too.

And now this from the Dartmouth football Instagram account (usual warnings about the mute button apply):

Draft Scout's Josh Buchanan, billed as "the industry's preeminent small school prospect guru," has updated his 2019 Top 100 Small School Prospects. (LINK)

Buchanan has three Ivy Leaguers among the 100 players and all three are from Princeton. They are:
79. John Lovett, listed at fullback
87. Jesper Horsted, listed at wide receiver
100. Stephen Carlson, listed at tight end
Perhaps of interest some interest to Dartmouth followers the list includes 6-foot-8 Stetson tight end Donald Parnham at No. 15 and 6-7 Central Connecticut quarterback Jacob Dolegala at No. 18, a couple of players the Big Green has lined up against. Marist wide receiver Juston Christian, who tore up Columbia with 274 receiving yards and three touchdowns on just seven catches, is at No. 54. Dartmouth will be visiting Marist this fall.
The NCAA may tighten up on graduate transfer rules according to an AP story. Tearing a page out of the Captain Obvious playbook, Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby told the AP:

“The so-called graduate degree is really not the aspiration. The aspiration is to be featured, and usually featured at a higher level.”
