Monday, Monday

I was going to wait until all of the official Ivy League recruiting classes had been posted but it's a slow morning here in the BGA Dailysphere, and so . . .

Three of Dartmouth's seven Ivy League opponents have officially announced their recruiting classes, two have seen them unofficially compiled on the Internet, and two are radio silent:

Something I did not know until a story headlined Penn State traditions to get ready for as a freshman came across my screen (LINK):
Penn State first homecoming took place on Oct. 9, 1920 in a football matchup against Dartmouth College. The tradition remains to celebrate Penn State and instill pride in the Penn State community, which includes students, faculty, staff, alumni and the surrounding State College community.
Penn State won that game 100 years ago this fall, 14-7.

Dartmouth finished the year 7-2 with the only losses coming to Penn State and Syracuse (10-0). Penn State closed out the year 7-0-2.
Over the past few days a site called "Perceiver Education" has posted one-minute looks at all eight Ivy League schools. Here's what it has on Dartmouth:

As for the rest of the Ivies:
Brown
Columbia
Cornell
Harvard
Penn
Princeton
Yale
EXTRA POINT
There is a basket on a little table in our mudroom here at BGA world headquarters. Every time I come home I hang up my keys and toss my cheap Timex watch in the basket so I always know where to find it when I'm heading back out the door.

I have a pretty good idea where my watch is now but I'm not 100 percent sure. I haven't worn it even one time in at least seven weeks.
